| Description |
English: Boundary stone and footpath, Scammonden. This is the best that I have found of a series of stones along the Scammonden boundary, but the place name on it is Deanhead, a hamlet of Scammonden. See 450626. It also has inscriptions on two other faces. On the opposite face is the name (?) 'Seares'and '1838', whilst the east face has the letters 'HB' and 'JOE'. |
