Summary[edit]
| Description |
English: Boundary between Studley Wood and the Islands Thorns Inclosure, New Forest. The earth bank and ditch running from left to right across the middle of the photo marks the eastern edge of the northern part of the Islands Thorns Inclosure (first enclosed in 1852). The fallen tree in the foreground is in Studley Wood. Apparently a lot of the decaying fallen trees in the wood were victims of the severe storms in 1987 and 1990. |
