Description
English: Design for interior wall in Rococo style. At center, a wall niche with a highly decorated ceramic stove. On the lower portion of the stove, a painted figural Chinoiserie scene; in an exotic landscape, a figure at left uses a bellows to blow air at a fire heating a kettle. Seated at left is another figure wearing a triangular hat and smoking a long pipe. Flanking the stove are decorative panels for mirrors (only half in view) with alternative designs. Scale at lower center.
