Français : Les Bouches du Rhône vues par Sentinel-2 le 17 août 2021.

Le département français des Bouches-du-Rhône est situé en région Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. L'Insee et la Poste lui attribuent le code 13. Sa préfecture est Marseille, qui est aussi le chef-lieu de la région Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.

Avec ses zones montagneuses (les Alpilles au Nord, la Sainte Baume et la Sainte Victoire à l'Est) alternant avec des plaines et des zones sauvages (la Camargue), des zones fortement urbanisées (Marseille), des espaces boisés et un littoral contrasté (calanques, plages et ports), les Bouches du Rhône offrent une large palette de paysages et de cultures provençales.
