Summary[edit]

Description
English: Border crossing This is the point where St Cuthbert's Way, a relatively recent waymarked route from Melrose to Lindisfarne, crosses the England-Scotland border. England to the left (east), Scotland to the right (west) as the border wall and fence runs north-south here. Of course this is an entirely artificial division where the land was divided up about 800 years ago.
