English: Boots the Tudor chemist, Pride Hill One of the many shops in the centre of Shrewsbury that appear quite conventional until you look up, then it's a breathtaking vision of half-timbering, pargetting and multi-paned gable windows under a steep-ridged roof. Many of these would have been the houses of merchants who profited from the Welsh wool trade. |
