Description Johann Gottlieb Boettger aus Dresden (1763 bis 1825): Speisung der Armen. Soll ich nicht segnen, wie Gott mich segnet? Um 1790. Johann Gottlieb Boettger (1763 Dresden - 1825 Leipzig). Deutscher Radierer, Kupferstecher und Zeichenlehrer. Schüler von Christian Gottfried Schulze in Dresden. Boettger stach viel nach Johann Eleazar Zeissig, gen. Schenau, Veit Hanns Schnorr von Carolsfeld und Johann David Schubert. Der Leipziger Kupferstecher G. Boettger signierte ab 1796 zur Unterscheidung zu Johann Gottlieb Boettger als G. Boettger senior.
