Summary[edit]

Description
English: A U.S. Navy Boeing XF2B-1 (BuNo A7385) at the Langley Aeronautical Laboratory at Hampton, Virginia (USA). Serving as the prototype for the F2B-1 shipboard fighter, the XF2B-1 differed visually in having a pointed spinner and an unbalanced rudder. Like many aircraft of its day, the Boeing model 69 was powered by a Pratt & Whitney Wasp radial engine.
