Elizabeth Greenhill binding. English, 1962. Elizabeth Greenhill (1907–2006). Pale grey Oasis goatskin; the front cover decorated with a star design of blue and white onlays, with gold and platinum; lower, star design in gilt only, repeated on front blue leather doublure. Elizabeth Greenhill was noted for her bold designs and innovative use of coloured leathers. Also shown is the original design for this binding, taken from her archive, recently acquired by the Bodleian.
