Summary[edit]

Description
English: In 1904, Bob Taylor was living outside Puyallup, Washington, when he shot two passersby, one fatally. When the police arrived at Taylor's residence, he did not understand that they were there to arrest him, and shot Sheriff J. A. Denholm, thinking that Denholm was an intruder. Taylor was captured and taken to prison; he is pictured here with two sheriff's deputies: Deputy Banker and Deputy Burch.
