The plaque reads: This Hall was given by Katherine Mina Courtauld 1856-1935 Leading suffragist, Co-founder of the Women's Land Army. Renowned agriculturalist, who farmed in this parish for over 50 years. Parish & county councillor, representing Colne Engaine.

This plaque was funded by the villagers of Colne Engaine.

The plaque can be found on the outer wall of the Courtauld Memorial Hall in Colne Engaine, Essex, UK. It was unveiled on 11th March 2022 by the Lord Lieutenant of Essex Mrs Jennifer Tolhurst.
