Summary[edit]

Description I'm going through my archives (I never throw anything away), searching for blue hour shots to put into a portfolio. This one comes from a morning, just before sunrise, about five years ago. Jim, Walter, and I drove out to Hahonogeh canyon from Tuba City, Arizona. The full moon hung just above the horizon as the band of first daylight was making its descent from sky to ground. I took three bracketed shots and used the middle one for this image, except for the moon, which came from the 2-stops-under exposure. Taken with my D90, which I think Walter has today.
