Summary[edit]
The Blue Boar Inn, in Great Ryburgh, is an old country coaching inn which dates back to 1685 and is a listed building. The Inn has three floors, with beamed ceilings. The different floor levels reflect how it has been altered and adapted over time. The beamed bar has a large inglenook fireplace. The village pub has recently enjoyed a revival in recent times when it was taken over by new owners in 2008 who have spent time and money restoring it to its former role as a the village pub.
