English: The Great Blizzard of 1978; Photo taken of backyard on Maple Street, Woonsocket, RI. To get out of the home, we had to shovel INTO the home. The snow drifted to within 2 inches of the top of the door! Drifts were as high as 10'. Here you can't see the above ground pool or the Jeep in the yard. They are totally covered. |
