Summary[edit]

Description
English: Blasket Pond, North Ferriby, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.
According to a stone plaque at the site, the pond was used as a sheep wash in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Following the Enclosure Act it was registered in 1837 as a watering place for use by occupiers of local land. Becoming derelict and overgrown after the Second World War, it has been recently restored by North Ferriby Parish Council.
