English: Blackhall Colliery Railway station (site), County Durham Opened in 1936 by the London & North Eastern Railway on the line from Stockton to Sunderland, this station closed to passengers in 1964 and was subsequently demolished. View south east towards Blackhall Rocks and Stockton. The two parallel platforms were located in the immediate foreground. No trace apparently remains.
