| Description |
English: Black Ice, Omagh. I was nearly caught unaware on the footpath at the lower end of Market Street this morning. As they say here "I could have fallen on my ear" - I mentioned black ice to my South African cousin, but with being accustomed to temperatures in the 30deg C's, he was not familiar with this terminology. Only for the fact that you could get knocked down by passing traffic on the road, it would be safer to walk on as the gritting doesn't extend to the pedestrian areas. |
