Vervaardiging Vervaardiger: prentmaker: Hans Holbein (II), bloksnijder: Hans Lützelburger Datering: 1524 - 1526 en/of 1538 Fysieke kenmerken: houtsnede Materiaal: papier Techniek: houtsnede Afmetingen: beeld: h 65 mm × b 50 mm Toelichting De houtblokken werden voor 1526 vervaardigd door Hans Lützelburg en pas in 1538 voor het eerst gebruikt als boekillustraties in: Les simulachres & historiees faces de la mort avtant elegamment pourtraictes que artificiellement imaginées... a Lyon, Soubsz l'escu de Coloigne, MDXXXVIII, (M. en G. Trechsel, voor F. Frellon in Lyon), 1538. Later verschenen nog andere uitgaven.
