clerk in the homeoffice of the Association, left our employ onJanuary 17, to devote his entire time, infuture, to the position of Secretary-Treas-urer of the New Jersey State AudubonSociety. It will be recalled that it waslargely through the efforts of Mr. Bowdishthat the New Jersey Audubon Society wasreorganized and incorporated in 1910. OnDecember 29 of that year, the board ofdirectors met, and he was elected secretary.From that moment the New Jersey workbegan to expand, and since then the So-ciety has in every way been a wide-awakeand going institution. In addition to hisduties with the National Association, Mr.Bowdish has been able to bring the NewJersey work up to such a stage that thedemand for his entire time to look after itswelfare has become imperative. For thepresent, his office will be at Demarest. Mr.Bowdish takes with him the good-will ofthe directors and office force, and we proph-esy for him the great success which hisconscientious devotion to the work sowarmly merits.
