My friend <a href="https://www.facebook.com/sindoreicosplay/" rel="nofollow">Sin'dorei</a> as a Rule 63 (gender-switch) version of Bilbo Baggins from "The Hobbit." I'm not a huge fan of the movies - never could get into Tolkien's writing, far too wordy and dry for my tastes - but from what I've seen of the movies, she nailed this. I loved her "Sting" short-sword. It was a prop that made noises and had a faint blue glow (blue plastic in part of the sword with an LED light source). UPDATE: Kelly's Bilbo was featured in an article on <a href="http://www.halloweenangel.com/2016/07/female-hobbit-costume.html" rel="nofollow">female Hobbit costumes</a>. |
