  • English: Preparing to wade upstream through Bighorn Creek. It's 8:30 AM, still an early enough start to avoid the dramatic mid-day rises off the water levels. Most the creek is only knee deep, but it's really cold. The alternative is to bushwack through the scrubby slopes on photo left, a process that probably adds several hours onto your journey. EXIF date is incorrect - taken in July 2002, per photographer's Donjek Trek July 2002 Flickr album.
  • Français : Préparation du cheminement dans l'eau vers la crique de Bighorn. Il est 8h30, assez tôt pour éviter les élévations d'eau avant midi. La plupart des endroits de la crique est profond jusqu'aux genoux mais il fait vraiment froid. Un passage alternatif existe mais rajoute des heures de marche.
