| Description |
English: Bicycle stand, Dublin Road corner, Omagh. Its good to see that someone has "gone green" to do their shopping. In Northern Ireland painting kerb-stones is nothing new. There is a picture in one of Dr.Haldene's "Images of Omagh" books, in which workmen are shown painting the kerb-stones black and white at this location for the black-out during the war years. |
