Descrição:Junto a uma das vertentes da Serra do Corcovado, à margem do que foi o Rio Carioca, na atual Rua Cosme Velho, encontra-se a Bica da Rainha. Recebeu esta denominação por ser local muito procurado pela Rainha D. Maria I. É uma edificação singela, com duas pilastras encimadas por entablamento, janela guarnecida por cantaria e bica na parte inferior. No coroamento, os dizeres: "Bica da Rainha" e a data "1845". Seu formato original não era esse, mas sim, o que foi representado por Bertichen, em uma de suas vistas do Rio de Janeiro. (IPHAN – Arquivo Noronha Santos – Livros do Tombo)
