Italiano: La sovrapposizione cranio-facciale del teschio di Gian Gastone de' Medici, di cui è stato realizzato un calco durante la riesumazione della salma nel 2004, con questo ritratto ha denotato una notevole sovrapponibilità del mento e della mandibola e una corrispondenza «impressionante [...] nella regione nasale». Si tratta dunque di un ritratto particolarmente realistico e attento a riprodurre le reali fattezze di Gian Gastone (Franco Ugo Rollo, Il vero volto di Gian Gastone, in Monica Bietti (a cura di), Gian Gastone (1671-1737). Testimonianze e scoperte sull'ultimo Granduca de' Medici, Firenze, Giunti, 2008, pp. 231-238.
