Description
English: An exhibit featuring a three-story guard tower used by Communist East Germany to prevent its citizens from crossing the Berlin Wall. The tower and eight twelve-foot-high concrete sections of the Berlin Wall (the largest display of portions of the Berlin Wall outside of Germany) are now located inside the Newseum, an interactive museum of news and journalism in Washington, D.C.
