Description
Deutsch: Ehemaliges Mietshaus in der Dorotheenstraße 41 in Berlin-Mitte, seit 1997 in den Neubau des Kulturkaufhauses Dussmann integriert. Das Haus wurde 1871 für den Bäcker Gustav Adolph Rothenbach errichtet. An der Fassade ist seit 2000 eine Gedenktafel für den spanischen Schriftsteller und Diplomaten Enrique Gil y Carrasco angebracht, der als Gesandter am preußischen Hof von 1844 bis zu seinem Tod 1849 in einem Vorgängerbau an diesem Ort wohnte. Die Tafel wurde von der Stadt Ponferrada gestiftet. Das Haus in der Dorotheenstraße 41 ist als Teil des Bauensembles Dorotheenstadt denkmalgeschützt.
