Description
Deutsch: Das Nationaldenkmal für den Sieg in den Befreiungskriegen gegen Napoleon auf dem Kreuzberg im Viktoriapark in Berlin-Kreuzberg, hier die Ostseite mit Erinnerung an die Schlachten von Groß-Görschen (Mitte), Großbeeren (links) und Denewitz (rechts). Das Denkmal wurde 1818-1821 von Karl Friedrich Schinkel geschaffen. Es ist als Baudenkmal gelistet.
English: The National Monument for the Liberation Wars against Napoleon on the Kreuzberg at the Viktoriapark in Berlin-Kreuzberg, here the eastern side commemorating the battles of Groß-Görschen, Großbeeren, and Dennewitz. The memorial was created from 1818 to 1821 by Karl Friedrich Schinkel. It has been designated as a cultural heritage monument.
