Description
English: Side porch and detached kitchen at Belvoir, the Saffold Plantation, near Pleasant Hill, Dallas County, Alabama.
  • The plantation was established by Reuben Saffold in 1825, the current main house is thought to have been built circa 1845-55. Though deteriorated in this photo, the house has since been restored.
