The central portion of this electrical group, which forms along building of three interconnected sections, is the Com-munication Building. In this the Bell System, the WesternUnion Telegraph Company, and the International Telephoneand Telegraph Company agreed to cooperate in maintainingan exhibit of the art of electrical communication in keepingwith the philosophy of the exposition. The Communication Building will house exhibits of two-waycommunication. The amusement applications of communi-cation techniques, whether of radio broadcasting or of soundpictures, are to be located elsewhere. The technical unity ofthe communication arts, which arose from the inventions ofMorse and Bell, their worldwide importance and service, theessential cooperation which communication implies and com-munication companies practice—all this, it is hoped, will be feltby the visitor to the Communication Building.
