Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A tortoise-born stele in memory of Hai Yun (海云, 1202-1257), an important Beijing Buddhist monk during the early Yuan Dynasty. The artefact was exhibited in Bejing Capital Museum. I am not sure if it was originally that small, or it is a copy of a much bigger outdoor monument.
