Summary[edit]

Description
English: Beginning of the line for the Lynton Railway The Woody Bay terminus for the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway. Closed in 1935 - this is the first phase in rebuilding one of the world's most famous and picturesque narrow gauge railways. A one mile section has now been reopened allowing visitors to travel by train along the original 'L&B Railway' route above the Heddon Valley near Parracombe in Exmoor National Park.
