Description

Minister-president Rutte tijdens een bezoek aan het van oorsprong Nederlandse bedrijf Teesing Industrial Systems te Beijing.

Nederland en China hebben elkaar veel te bieden, zowel op politiek, cultureel en economisch vlak. De Chinese economie groeit ondanks de crisis nog steeds met zo’n 7,5 procent per jaar. Waar buitenlandse investeringen wereldwijd afnemen, zijn de Chinese investeringen de afgelopen jaren gegroeid. Nederland is binnen de Europese Unie de tweede handelspartner van China. De wederzijdse handel tussen beide landen bedroeg in 2012 circa 39,5 miljard euro. Met name op het gebied van landbouw, water, creatieve industrie en high tech liggen er in China grote kansen voor het Nederlandse bedrijfsleven.
