| Description |
English: Dwelling building with shops on ground floor. Trap Café. - Erzsébet Boulevard, Budapest District VII., Hungary. Magyar: Építtetője, Baumgartern Károly (1853-1913) Baumgarten Izidor öccse volt, ügyvédként és jogászként tevékenykedett. 1897-ben épült négyemeletes neobarokk sarokház. Tervező: Quittner Zsigmond. Építő: Wawra és Pfeiffer. Ez a bérház is egy volt a csillagos házak között, melyeket Farkas Ákos polgármester 1944. június 16-án kiadott 147.501–514/1944–IX számú rendeletében a „zsidók (a fennálló rendelkezések értelmében megkülönböztető jelzés – sárga csillag – viselésére kötelezettek)” lakhelyéül jelölt ki. Kávéházak hosszú sorát fogadta be: orfeum kis Bohémtanyája, Continental (alapító Singer Mór) majd Körút kávéház, aztán Fővárosi, aztán Badacsony, majd Astor(1911-ben alakítottak ki. 1939-ben Freschl Margit megbízásából Kanics Miklós építészmérnök tervei alapján átalakításra került, és a Star Espresszója néven működött tovább). Az Erzsébet körút a Rákóczi úttól a Király utcáig műemlék. Azonosító: -8009. - Magyarország, Budapest, Erzsébetváros, Erzsébet körút 41 (Dob u. 64).
