Description
English: The basket weaving in matondoni village is a booming business because there is high demand for different types of baskets not only in Lamu but as far as Kilifi and Mombasa Counties. This weaving industry has made the people of this village earn a source of living by making different weaving products among both men and women dwellers consequently making the village well known in this area of work.
