Description
English: The basket weaving in Matondoni has made the people of this village earning a living by making different weaving products such as taa, masogi, vipepo, vikapu and e.t.c. Taa are types of baskets that are use for carrying, books, cloths, e.t.c. This days people use taa to carry their laptops. The woman on the photo display varieties of taa at her showroom at Matondoni village in Lamu county.
