| Description | One of the finest post office buildings for miles around at the time of the picture. Might be compared with that in Coddenham near Ipswich. I would be very surprised if this branch survives today, in this or any other location. In SW Cambridgeshire on the Essex border. Formerly also on a railway branch line, and famous for the extraordinary sugar loaf mounds, the Bartlow Hills. |
