Title
Barbed and tanged arrowhead of Early Bronze Age date, unfinished.
Description
English: A piece of worked flint, possibly an unfinished barbed and tanged arrowhead, dating to the Bronze Age (2150 – 800 BC). The barbs and tang are not complete, but the pronounced triangular form is typical. However, the object is rather crude, and worked on one face only (the reverse bears a pronounced bulb of percussion), and barbed and tanged arrowheads are bifacially-knapped. Thus, this identification is not secure. Length: 35mm; width: 28mm; thickness: 8mm; weight unknown, recorded in field.
