| Description | The Bank of Chester County in West Chester, PA (1836). It was designed by Thomas Ustick Walter, who also designed the dome of the US Capitol building. Its previous office opened in 1814 at the corner of High & Market. The current building is the largest single-story building in the borough. It is also the town's longest-running business type, operating only as a bank throughout its existence. |
