Description
Português: Tombado pela Prefeitura pela resolução SEC 25, de 31/8/1990. A sede social do Bangu Atlético Clube tem suas origens na antiga Fábrica de Tecidos Bangu. Inaugurada em 1889, a fábrica foi construída no terreno da Fazenda Bangu, de propriedade da Cia. Progresso Industrial Brasil. O clube, fundado em 1904 por funcionários da fábrica, tem sua sede no prédio revestido de tijolo aparente, seguindo influência inglesa. (Guia do Patrimônio Cultural Carioca)
