Summary[edit]

Description
English: The fifth day marked the culmination of the well participated and culturally rich goodwill visit of the Bangladesh Navy to Port Blair. The Bangladesh Naval Ships, Somudra Avijan and Somudra Joy were seen off in the traditional manner by the officers and sailors of the Indian Navy with the Naval Band in attendance and playing heady martial tunes. On leaving harbour, the BN ships participated in joint exercises with the Indian Naval Ship Karmuk and thereafter shaped their course to their next port of call – Colombo. This marked the end of a well executed and extremely enriching visit of the Bangladesh Navy to Port Blair.
