Description

View on a river landing town, half way between Barisal and Kulna, Bangladesh.

Behind lies a green world. A few rickshaw drivers are willing to take you 15 kilometers or so in-land over dirt tracks. An occasional wooden market town presents the traveler with Bangladesh' rural version of crowds.

Shanty dwellings on stilts are common.
