Español: La Bandera del Estado Miranda fue aprobada en la reforma a Ley de Símbolos en julio de 2006.
Está inspirada en la bandera militar que ideó el prócer Francisco de Miranda como estandarte oficial del primer ejército de Colombia. Se conforma de 3 franjas iguales de colores negro, rojo y amarillo que representan los tres grupos étnicos que componían el país, negros, pardos e indios. En el costado izquierdo de la franja superior está un sol naciente y dentro si dos ramas con frutos de cacao, principal producto agrícola de la entidad, con la inscripción Libertad o Muerte. La franja central posee un arco conformado por seis estrellas que representan las subregiones del estado. |
