Português: A Bandeira da Nação e do Povo Nordestino, idealizada por Renato Zaraskyz, vem homenagear o Povo do Nordeste brasileiro, a bandeira não é de cunho representativo não só de uma povo, de uma nação, e traz como significado o seguinte: Preto - A porção preta da bandeira representa MEMÓRIA, VERDADE E JUSTIÇA – a base de uma sociedade duradoura; Branco - A porção branca de nossa bandeira representa, Harmonia e paz entre os povo, além de simbolizar a caatinga, que em tupi significa "Mata Branca"; Amarelo - A porção amarela de nossa bandeira representa as nossas Riquezas, sejam elas naturais, materiais e imateriais; O Sol - Símbolo máximo que nos alumia para o futuro de forma igual e equidente; Estrela Vermelha - A Estrela Nordestina, representando o sangue derramado de todos que lutaram e lutam por nossa terra, pela união e bonança do Nordeste.
English: The Flag of the Nation and the Northeastern People, designed by Renato Zaraskyz, comes to honor the People of the Brazilian Northeast, the flag is not representative of not only a people, a nation, and has the following meaning: Black - The portion black on the flag represents MEMORY, TRUTH AND JUSTICE - the basis of a lasting society; White - The white portion of our flag represents Harmony and peace among the people, in addition to symbolizing the caatinga, which in Tupi means "Mata Branca"; Yellow - The yellow portion of our flag represents our Wealth, be it natural, material and immaterial; The Sun - Maximum symbol that illuminates us for the future in an equal and equitable way; Red Star - The Northeastern Star, representing the blood shed of all who fought and fight for our land, for the union and bonanza of the Northeast.
Español: La Bandera de la Nación y el Pueblo del Nordeste, diseñada por Renato Zaraskyz, viene a honrar al Pueblo del Nordeste brasileño, la bandera no es representativa no solo de un pueblo, de una nación, y tiene el siguiente significado: Negro - La porción negra en la bandera representa MEMORIA, VERDAD Y JUSTICIA - la base de una sociedad duradera; Blanco - La porción blanca de nuestra bandera representa, Armonía y paz entre la gente, además de simbolizar la caatinga, que en tupi significa "Mata Branca"; Amarillo: la parte amarilla de nuestra bandera representa nuestra riqueza, ya sea natural, material e inmaterial; El Sol - Símbolo máximo que nos ilumina para el futuro de manera igualitaria y equitativa; Estrella Roja - La Estrella del Noreste, que representa el derramamiento de sangre de todos los que lucharon y luchan por nuestra tierra, por la unión y bonanza del Noreste.

Die Flagge repräsentiert nicht nur ein Volk, eine Nation und hat die folgende Bedeutung: Schwarz - Der Teil Schwarz auf der Flagge steht für ERINNERUNG, WAHRHEIT UND GERECHTIGKEIT - die Grundlage einer dauerhaften Gesellschaft; Weiß - Der weiße Teil unserer Flagge steht für Harmonie und Frieden unter den Menschen und symbolisiert zusätzlich die Caatinga, die in Tupi "Mata Branca" bedeutet.
