Ballyfin observation tower, built for Charles Coote c1860

Summary[edit]

Description
English: This strange edifice with the bizarre tower upon a tower in the Irish Tourist Association's Collection is one we have not seen before AFAIK? One would have expected it to appear in the Lawrence or Eason collections. What was it for and does it still exist?
