| Description | This photo is from the boardwalk trail in Congaree National Park. Here, the trail goes through a forest of Bald Cypress trees, rising up to 120 feet above the swamp. These aren't the particularly large ones, but still a sight to see, especially with the "knees" coming out from the water for a root system that provides extra support. |
