Summary[edit]

Description
English: Baker Street tube station, viewed from across Marylebone Road. An articulated bus is entering the shot on the right, but it's not clear what route it's operating, if any. It's a London Central bus with a New Cross garage (NX) code on it - London Central operated two artic routes, both using MAL class buses - the 12 from Camberwell (Q) garage and the 436 from New Cross garage, neither of which pass along Marylebone Road. The two artic routes that did run along Marylebone Road at this time, route 18 and 453, were operated by First based at Willesden Junction (WJ) garage and (at this time) London General based at Mandela Way (MW), respectively. The fact that it appears to be empty suggests it's a route 436 bus operating out of service, although as London Central and London General are sister companies in the Go-Ahead group, it's not entirely implausible that it might instead be in service, as a temporary loan allocation to General for the 453.
