The photograph shows a Baker Electric car model prior circa 1906. In 1898 the Baker Motor Vehicle Company was established in Cleveland by Walter C. Baker (1868-1955). In 1905 annual production was 400 automobiles. Supplemental information from a researcher identifies the vehicle as a 1906 inside driven Brougham, 4-passenger, 2,200 lb., motor in front over axle under hood, 3 ½ HP 48 Volts, 17 MPH, 86½“ WB. |
