Description
Русский: О том, что можно рисовать бактериями на чашках Петри, ученые догадались еще в прошлом веке. А вот чтобы создать объемный арт-объект, который будет светиться благодаря генномодифицированным бактериям E.Coli, нам пришлось извлечь ген флюоресцентного белка из коралла, провести молекулярно-генетичекое клонирование, напечатать форму на 3D-принтере и дать волю фантазии.
English: Scientists making pictures on Petri dishes for a long time... But nobody ever made a 3D Bacterial art object. We implanted gene of the fluorescent protein into the E.Coli genom to light it up, printed form on the 3D-printer and gave freedom to our imagination.
