The repica of Bab al-Futuh at the entrance of the Aljamea-tu-Saifiyah Karachi campus

Summary[edit]

Description
English: After the renovation of Al Hakim Mosque of Cairo was completed in 1980 by Mohammed Burhanuddin, the 52nd Da'i al-Mutlaq, a wave of Neo-Fatimid architecture took hold in the community. Seen here is the Bab al-Futuh replica at the Aljamea Karachi campus inaugurated in 1983, three years after the completion of the momentous and contentious Al Hakim Mosque renovation.
