Stamp of Belgium; 1976; commemorative surcharge stamp of the issue "400th anniversary of birth of Peter Paul Rubens"; stamp motive with a detail from the painting "The Saint Chrostopher" (other title: "Descent from cross") by Peter Paul Rubens (1577-1640); This painting was detemined originally as left side wing of the "Altar of the descent from the cross" of the "Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekathedraal" (= Nederlandic for "Cathedral of Our Lovely Lady") in Antwerp, but it was not used.; This painting was created in 1612/13 in the style of the Flemish baroque and is actual located in the "Alte Pinakothek" in Munich (Bavaria, Germany) .; mint stamp
